Kate Moss Young
After testifying as Johnny Depp’s witness in the actor’s continuing defamation action against his ex-wife Amber Heard, Kate Moss is the topic of much discussion online this week.
The 48-year-old British model asserted during her testimony before the court via video link from her home in Gloucestershire that the 58-year-old had never physically or verbally harmed her.
In court, she stated: “As I exited the room, I slid down the stairs and I damaged my back.” She also refuted charges that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor previously shoved her down the stairs while they were on vacation in Jamaica.
These 17 young pictures from Kate’s modeling heyday will remind you of the tranquil life she now leads away from the spotlight, where she now defers to her 19-year-old daughter Lila.
Who is Kate Moss?
After returning from a vacation in The Bahamas, Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management, approached Moss about becoming a model in 1988 when she was just 14 years old.
When she was 16 years old, Corinne Day groomed Melanie Ward to model for The Face in a photoshoot dubbed “The 3rd Summer of Love.”
Day referred to the photographs as “dirty realism” or “grunge” and said that Moss was shown as a young unknown.
