Moss was reared in the borough’s Addiscombe and Sanderstead neighborhoods after being born there on January 16, 1974.
She is the daughter of bartender Linda Rosina Moss (née Shepherd) and airline employee Peter Edward Moss.
Her half-sister Lottie and younger brother Nick are both living with her (Charlotte). When Moss was thirteen, her parents separated.
She went to Purley’s Ridgeway Primary School and Riddlesdown High School, which is now Riddlesdown Collegiate. She had various local retail jobs while she was a young adolescent.
